Very peaceful and relaxing. Quiet in January. We obviously didn't try the lake, as it is spring fed and we have been told it's ICE COLD. Love the deer that venture into the camp sites. It's very nice to just roam around by the lake and enjoy nature. Honestly, it could use a little maintenance, but it's nice nonetheless. Everyone we have met have been very friendly.

Great place but the price is a bit much dont you think.. Stop trying to compeat with water park. It was $7 last year and at some point it was like $5 per person now it's $10... for that much gas and entry fee for 3 would be less if I drove to Salmon Lake in Grapeland. Its a spring too. Y'all aren't worth $30 for the day. Sorry as nice as you are I cant think of spending that much to swim when I can do it for free at other places. Glad I checked the prices before I wasted gas driving out there.

I would only recommend taking small or younger children on a Wednesday, which is the camp's family day. I would avoid other days of the week, especially holidays like Memorial Day, due to too much exposure to alcohol and inappropriate behavior, especially for younger eyes. Be prepared to pay $10.00 as an entrance fee per person, which, in my personal opinion, is quite pricey per person for the overall swim experience. Even if you are only going to supervise the swimmers and not swim yourself, you still have to pay the $10.00 entrance fee.

Everything you could need, with the feel of really camping. Clean park, great hosts & nice cold pond

Pannell Farms BBQWe sell the BBQ. We will be there Aug19th and 20th. 2017 y'all come.
